I’ve got a lot of things cooking in May which are going to likely interrupt the regular flow of FigureFan. A lot of it is going to involve a lot of drinking some traveling, during which time I’ll still have access to my computer, but I won’t be able to do photo shoots or have access to my toy collection. Instead I’ll likely be clocking a lot of time on my Kindle, however I will be spending some time doing some serious toy hunting as well. Which is a great thing, because the pickings in my area have been really lousy lately.
Luckily, none of this will be for an extended period of time. I should still be able to do regular updates throughout the month, but it’s just not going to be possible to make this site the daily commitment it has been for most of 2011. Right now, my goal is still hitting at least three posts a week to keep things regular and it’s still likely that I may eek out a bit more time here and there. Even every other day is a real possibility.
Rest assured, scaling back is not due to any lack of interest in the site or any dip in my irrational obsession with collecting hunks of articulated plastic. And I’m still looking forward to featuring a lot of great stuff as we cruise through the Summer months and into the insane flood of new toys that should start pouring into the shevles come August.
