Well, the Coof finally caught up to me, as I was feeling very sick the last couple days and today I got a positive test for the Beer Virus. Crazy to think I made it so long without contracting it, only to get hit now.

I’m happy to say that I don’t seem to have any lung involvement or breathing problems. I do have one of the worst sore throats I’ve ever had, which makes the sporadic coughing fits oh so much fun. I’ve got aches and pains all over and a fever that keeps breaking and coming back, making me alternate between the shivers and flop sweats. But… as sick as I am, if this is as bad as it is going to get, I’ll count myself lucky. I think the worst part of it all is the sore throat makes it impossible to sleep for more than a couple hours at a time.

As a result, I’m going to take a brief hiatus to recoup, so there will be no new content for Monday or Wednesday. I’m hoping I’m past the hump and it’ll be on its way out, and maybe Friday I can come back with a review.
